what kind of spirit filled church should i be looking for?
i'm moving, relocating, i'm a single young gal. and God has revealed to many things to look out for with mega churches. and prophecies ectt.... and such .....that may not be of Him.
But who should I fellowship with now? I've read lots of scripture on speaking in tongues... but i honestly still don't get it. of course i believe in it. but i still dont get why so many people emphasize.
I think emphasizing REPENTANCE is more important than the speaking in TONGUES?
Am i wrong? i dunno. tell me what you think.

Girl, You are right on ! repent and have a change of heart. If I speak with the tongues of angels and not have love I am a Zero with the rim off of it. Ken

I love this story our Pastor tells.........
People ask him when they find out he is a Preacher, is your church growing?
His reply...."yes by leaps and bounds"
"People" are looking for numbers
Our Pastor is speaking of "spiritual growth" of the members in our church family.
I believe that God will lead you to a place/church where He wants you to be. I would ask Him, Lord, where would you have me go?
And I agree with Ken, it is all about the heart and repentance must take place in our hearts so God can clean the junk out and replace it with more of Him.
